Extension of principle shopping centre in Cardiff to include flagship units and café society.

St David's is the major shopping centre in Wales, however the centre's units are circa 20 years old. The objective of the analysis was to attract a premier department store and flagship key new stores to Cardiff. Adjacent streets were incorporated into the design to integrate new catering facilities into the City Centre to extend the experience from purely shopping to a day-out activity. Permeability was extended to the castle and other cultural elements.
